Funding is available for your landscaping and other


projects to improve lake water quality


If you live within Carver County and/or the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District and want to protect clean water while beautifying your yard, there may be grants or cost sharing programs available to you.


Carver County Water Management Organization funds a 75% cost share program up to a maximum of $5,000 to promote homeowners’ actions to protect and restore the quality of water within the county.  To find out more, visit the Carver County cost sharing webpage.


The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District offers funds for up to 50% of projects to a maximum of $2,500 that protect water resources in a variety of ways, whether or not you live on a lake or stream. For more information, visit the MCWD website.
